Janice Lindsay is one of Canada's leading colour designers, with a wealth of experience in residenial, commercial and institutional projects. She is a colour consultant for PPG Pittsburgh Paints and travels the continent speaking about colour and design.
Born in England, Janice grew up in Stratford, Ontario, one of six children.
At the University of Toronto, Janice majored in art history while immersing herself in live music, film, and "socializing".
Janice grew up with theatre and began her work as a designer at the Stratford Festival. She went on to design sets and costumes across Canada.
Then came marriage, children, and a home in dowtown Toronto. Janice began styling for photographers and writing for House and Home magazine.
Theatre, styling and writing all contributed to Janice's passion for colour and design collaborations In 1995 she founded
PINK colour & design and began writing a monthly design column for the Globe and Mail. In 2008 she published her acclaimed book,
All About Colour.
